Nasal Obstruction

What is Nasal Obstruction?

The nasal cavity is the air passage from the nostril to the back of the throat. Nasal obstruction is a partial or complete blockage of this area.

Nasal Obstruction Symptoms

Because infants primarily breathe through the nose, nasal obstruction can manifest as difficulty breathing and is often noted soon after birth. They can have trouble feeding when they cannot breathe well from the nose.
