Patient Service Representative (full-time, days):
Our Patient Service Representative welcomes patients to the facility. Assists patients with checking in and out for physician office visits. Answers incoming phones. Requests, accepts and posts payments for the office visit. Reviews referrals. Assists patients with scheduling appointments for follow-up visits.
High School diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems. Excellent customer service skills.
Referral and phone experience; highly recommend bilingual
Two or more years of related medical office experience
Medical Assistant (full-time, days):
Performs various patient care tasks and uses non-professional skills to assist the physician in providing care of the patient in an outpatient setting. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse and/or the physician, the Medical Assistant performs delegated tasks and procedures of patient care, involving the physical, psychological, social, emotional, safety, and security needs of the patient. Facilitates the appropriate registration, appropriate documentation for billing/collection purposes and clerical duties that are location specific. This is a safety sensitive position.
Must have High School diploma or GED
Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
Completion of an MA educational program and/or clinic experience
