I am a graduate of Keota Highschool and Northeastern State University. I have a BS in Education and am certified in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.
This is my 13th year of teaching. I taught 1st grade for 6 years, 4th grade for 2 years and currently on my 5th year as a 2nd grade teacher. I absolutely LOVE teaching. It is my passion and priority to teach in a way that all children will learn best! We learn through listening, speaking, hands on experiences, working in small groups, with partners, and lots of movement. I hope that students find my classroom both challenging and fun! My goal is all students love to come to school as much as I do.
I have been married for 11 years to my husband Kyle and we have a 4th grade daughter, Emma.
