My name is Amber Wright. I am a very proud 3rd grade teacher at Blanchard Intermediate in Blanchard, Oklahoma. This is my 15th year of teaching. I have previously taught 1st and 3rd grade at Lee Elementary in Oklahoma City as well as 2nd grade at Southgate-Rippetoe in Moore, Oklahoma. I received my degree from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma. I am the mother of 2 wonderful young men…one adult son, Dillon, and one currently a freshman in high school, Levi. My grandson, Keegan, is one and half years old.
Ever since I was a little kid, I spent time playing “teacher”. I fell in love with everything about teaching as I grew up. I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment, which encourages students to believe in themselves and to do their personal best. Working with children, on a daily basis, is both a passion and a privilege. I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing community and doing a job I love.
