Nasal Disruption

Nasal disruption is any tear or deformity affecting the nasal septum which is the cartilage membrane dividing the nostrils.

Symptoms of nasal disruption:

  • Whistling sound
  • Discharge / Bloody nose
  • Congestion
  • Infection

At Pediatric ENT of Oklahoma, we are committed to finding the nature of the problem with your child. Every young patient and their family can expect top-notch care at our Oklahoma City facility.

Noisy Breathing/Stridor

If your child makes noises while breathing, it may be an indication of a respiratory problem. Noisy breathing or a high-pitched, wheezing sound often called “Stridor” may indicate asthma, congestion, infection, airway blockage or pneumonia. Treatment for noisy breathing depends on the cause. At Pediatric ENT of Oklahoma, every treatment plan is customized to meet the needs of our young patients.

Sinus Disorders

Your child’s sinus won’t be fully developed until their teenage years. Young children are more susceptible to infections of the nose and ears in the first years of life. Many of the signs and symptoms of pediatric sinus disorders are similar to the common cold. The experts at Pediatric ENT of Oklahoma are acutely trained in the detection and diagnosis of pediatric sinus disorders.
